The Living Legacy Experience is an online course on how to create an heirloom quality family history video.  

The tradition of oral history started soon after humans developed the ability to speak. But the human need for storytelling is only part of it. 

There is something in human nature that makes us want to preserve those stories. Why, after all, would one want to even tell a story if they didn’t want someone to remember it? 

Meanwhile, there seems to be a growing interest in family history as evidenced by the popularity of the PBS show Finding Your Roots, Genealogy Roadshow, and many others. Ancestry.com and their trade show RootsTech, a massive three day conference dedicated to family history research and preservation, was designed to help families conserve their family history.

We started Living Legacies Experience to offer another way to save your family stories, through the oral tradition as spoken by those who lived it. Video brings ancestry to life.
