Permission From Interview Participants
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission from the people you photograph, interview, or record and for determining how those recordings may be used, shared, published, or distributed.
Living Legacy Experience cannot determine whether you have the necessary rights to use photographs, music, recordings, documents, archival material, or other content belonging to third parties.
When in doubt about ownership, privacy, copyright, publicity rights, or other legal issues, you should obtain permission or appropriate professional advice before publishing or distributing the material.
Preservation and Storage
We teach practices intended to help families preserve important stories and recordings, but no digital-storage system or media format is permanent.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies and backups of your own photographs, recordings, project files, and finished videos.
